A pair of Nordic walking poles makes a great holiday gift. This can be a gift for fitness, and also for fun. It can also be a gift for yourself, either by just buying yourself some poles or by recruiting a friend to give you another walking companion. There are several good pole manufacturers. Do your research and pick the ones that seem right for the individual. (I don't recommend any particular brand.) Give yourself some time because local stores may not carry Nordic walking poles and you may have to buy them online.
